Mary’s bro­ther was Vi­car of St. Thom­as-on-the-Bourne, Sur­rey, and she lived at his vi­car­age for ma­ny years, serv­ing as or­gan­ist. She al­so played the pi­a­no, and was a friend of Hen­ry Smart. Her works in­clude:
