Born: Cir­ca 1630, El­bing (near Dan­zig), West­preuss­en (West Pruss­ia).

Sohren taught school in West­preuss­en, and served as can­tor and or­gan­ist at El­bing, and for a while (1675?) at Dir­schau. His works in­clude:

• An en­larged edi­tion of Jo­hann Crü­ger’s Prax­is Pie­ta­tis Mel­i­ca, 1668
• Musik­al­isch­er Vor­schmack, 1683
