Died: Feb­ru­a­ry 28, 1934, Monte Car­lo.

Vincent was a chor­is­ter in Dur­ham Ca­thed­ral, and from 1869-76 was or­gan­ist at Monk­swear­mouth Par­ish Church. He then tra­veled to Leip­zig, Ger­ma­ny, for two years, re­turn­ing as or­gan­ist at Tav­is­tock Par­ish Church. From 1883-91, he played the or­gan at Christ Church, Hamp­stead. Af­ter­ward, he ex­am­ined for Trin­i­ty Coll­ege, Lon­don. He found­ed The Or­gan­ist and Choir­mas­ter, 1893, and be­gan a mu­sic pub­lish­ing bus­i­ness in con­nect­ion with this, be­com­ing ve­ry suc­cess­ful. He found­ed the firm of Ro­gers, pi­a­no­for­te mak­ers. Aft­er re­tire­ment in the late 1920’s, he lived at Hen­don. His works in­clude:
