Edward Osler (1798-1863)

Osler be­gan his ca­reer as a phy­si­cian, at Guy’s Hos­pi­tal in Lon­don, and the Swan­sea In­firm­ary. How­ev­er, he quick­ly mi­grat­ed to the lit­er­ary field. For some time he was as­so­ci­at­ed with the So­ci­e­ty for Pro­mot­ing Christ­ian Know­ledge, in both Lon­don and Bath. In 1841, he be­came ed­it­or of the Roy­al Corn­wall Ga­zette, and moved to Tru­ro. His works in­clude:
